Portable projector system

Now that puts some light on the subject

"To give light to those who sit in darkness and the shadow of death, To guide our feet into the way of peace"- Luke 1:79

While in Tulsa over Christmas (2011), we were blessed with yet another piece of equipment (and extras) that enable us to reach the rural peoples of Guatemala.

projector and all the extras

Gods goodness is so complete, not only was a 2600 lumen projector provided but a compact DVD player, custom fabricated cables to interface with the new sound system recently obtained, and even a generous memory card for presentations.

According to experts the view-ability of any projection system is contingent on a specification called ANSI Lumens; the more the better.  Low end projectors function only in really dark environments.  For lighted and partially lighted areas a minimum of 1000 lumens is required, less than this, the projected imagery is barely viewable (if at all).

Praise God for modern technologies that enable viewing of evangelical materials in a wide variety of locations and lighting situations.  The “Jesus Film” for example, is a standard evangelical tool, available in a myriad of languages.  As it is written, “faith comes by hearing”; now add visual impact and modern technology helps to bring the Gospel to the people.

This unit is capable of producing 2200 lumen, more than enough for any lighting situation.

An alternative means that makes this equipment available to benefit the rural people is to purchase in country (Guatemala).

“PriceMart” in Guatemala City, is a Sam’s Club equivalent and provides many of the U.S. conveniences such as: immediate availability, exchange of defective equipment, even extended warranty.
