With Thanksgiving in Our Hearts

9:00am and the last of the morning overcast has faded, the view from 10,500 ft., reveals the line of volcanos previously hidden by clouds. Todays mission is to transport one passenger to Guatemala City then return-to-base (RTB) with two others, landing at Quetzaltenango (Xelaju).

Pastor Wilson Moir, who was my outgoing passenger, took this shot as we flew past Lago Atitlan on our way to Guatemala City.  I had not seen this photo until later in the day when it was posted to social media.  Stunned, I realized that I was looking at the exact image God placed in our hearts over 20+ years ago, while living in south east Arizona. Up to that point, we had never considered or envisioned serving as cross-cultural aviation missionaries.  As tomorrow is Thanksgiving Day, we are thankful for Gods’ faithfulness, to include us, Chuck & Robin, in His great plan. We are thankful for each of you who have encouraged us to expand and continue the work, through your prayer and giving. -Happy Thanksgiving!
