Leave Nothing to Chance

Ground Support Equipment (GSE) is all the gear that helps you on the ground but does not go flying with you. This one statement describes it best? You don’t need it, until you need it, and it better be ready when you need it!

In July, SGSP Aviation Ministries completed annual inspections on mission aircraft in Quetzaltenango, Guatemala. Now it’s time to take a hard look at every piece of GSE. The goal is to clean, overhaul, service, and test every piece of gear. While it is true, you will not need GSE every day, it is also true that when that day comes, it will be on short notice and mission critical.

Always up for a challenge, Robin is masking a compressor before painting.

Robin is an arts and crafts guru, so making the leap to GSE prep is natural. We have already serviced and reconditioned carbon brushes on the dual voltage electric motor in the background. Next the compressor pictured in the foreground has new seals, filter, and oil. After degreasing the outside, its time to mask and paint, so it will be good-to-go (G2G), inside and out.
